Just before Lucy was born we took the girls to an Indian Festival. Something I am doing part-time is scheduling field trips for our homeschool group. This was one of them. We had fun! Molly shot an arrow right into the target. Both girls rode a horse for the first time (check out Katie’s quarter sized dimples!) and then fed a bunch of animals. The costumes were very colorful and they really enjoyed watching and learning about this culture. Molly and I got to dance in the circle dance too. We saw our friends the Steeles there so Molly loved that she shared it with a friend. We tried to eat food, but the line was too long for the roasted corn on the cob or turkey leg… bummer! A very special thanks to the McLain inlaws for attending with me – they were such a big help!
